Francesca Brooks is a writer and researcher, living in Manchester and working at the University of York. Her first book, Poet of the Medieval Modern: Reading the Early Medieval Library with David Jones, was published in 2021 by Oxford University Press and won the University English Book Prize 2022.
Francesca’s poetry and essays have been published with PN Review, gorse, 3AM Magazine’s Poem Brut series, Tentacular, and Propel Magazine, amongst others. In 2021 she was longlisted for Primers 6 with Nine Arches Press.
